Drought Prompts Water Usage Plea

   Drought conditions persisting locally have prompted officials with at least one local water district to issue a plea to customers to conserve all water possible.

   Officials with the Summertown Water District issued the plea on Wednesday. They requested that customers of the district refrain from excessive uses of water, including watering of lawns, and washing of automobiles.
